About the credit card validator
This tool checks whether a card number is well-formed: it runs the Luhn checksum (the formula used to catch mistyped digits), detects the card scheme from the number's prefix, and confirms the length is valid for that scheme.
A "valid" result means the number passes these format checks — it does not mean the card exists, is active, or has funds. Only the issuing bank can confirm that. This tool is provided for informational purposes only; please don't enter card numbers that aren't your own.
